Estimate your graft count
Almost every quote you will receive is graft count multiplied by a per-graft rate. Knowing your likely graft count is therefore the single most useful thing you can do before speaking to any clinic.
This is an indicative range based on standard Norwood classification, not a quote. Graft count and cost can only be confirmed after Dr. Bansal examines your scalp and donor area.
Why we do not publish a per-graft price
A number on a web page cannot account for your donor density, the area needing coverage, scalp laxity or whether your loss is still progressing. Clinics that publish one either quote low and revise upward at consultation, or quote high to leave room to discount.
You will be given a total figure in writing after Dr. Bansal has examined your scalp — before you commit to anything, and with no charge for the assessment itself.
What to check in any quote
- Is the figure total, or per graft with extras added later?
- Does it include anaesthesia, theatre, medication and follow-up reviews?
- Who performs the extraction and implantation — the surgeon, or technicians?
- What happens if the final graft count differs from the estimate?
- Is a second session likely, and is donor supply being preserved for it?
Questions about cost
What determines hair transplant cost in Jaipur?
Graft count is the primary driver, followed by technique. FUE and DHI are more labour-intensive per graft than FUT. Anaesthesia, theatre time and post-operative medication are usually included; confirm this in writing before booking anywhere.
Should I choose a clinic on price?
A hair transplant is permanent, including a poor one. Over-harvested donor areas and badly angled hairlines are difficult and expensive to correct, and correction consumes donor supply you cannot replace. Price is worth comparing only between clinics you would actually trust to operate.
Is a per-graft price the same as a package price?
Not always. Some clinics quote per graft and add theatre, medication and follow-up separately. Ask for the total payable amount and what happens if the final graft count differs from the estimate.
