A medifacial is a clinician-designed facial: the cleansing, exfoliation and infusion steps are chosen for your skin type and concern, using medical-grade actives that a salon treatment cannot use. Chemical peels work on the same principle at a controlled depth, removing damaged surface layers so that even-toned skin replaces them.
Peels range from superficial, with no downtime, to medium-depth peels that involve several days of visible flaking. Which is appropriate depends on the concern — pigmentation, acne, texture or dullness — and on how much recovery time you can accommodate.
How it works
Both are usually a course rather than a single visit, spaced weeks apart, and sun protection afterwards is not optional. The plan is set at consultation after examining the skin.
Is it the right option for you?
Every plan starts with an examination. Dr. Bansal will tell you whether medifacials & chemical peels fits your case — including when it does not.
