Which one you should have
GFC is a refinement of the same underlying idea rather than a different treatment. The more concentrated preparation usually allows fewer sittings with less discomfort. Because we charge the same for both, the usual choice for thinning hair is GFC; PRP is retained for patients who have responded to it before and for use around a hair transplant.
Neither will help if the follicles are no longer viable. Both are for hair that is thinning, not hair that is gone.
The choice usually comes down to how advanced the thinning is and how many sessions you are willing to commit to.

Is GFC better than PRP?
GFC delivers a more concentrated growth-factor preparation and often needs fewer sessions. Whether that justifies the higher per-session cost depends on your case.
Are they safe?
Both are prepared from your own blood, which removes the risk of an allergic reaction to a foreign substance. Standard injection-site effects still apply.
How many sessions will I need?
An initial course of three to four sittings, three to four weeks apart, then maintenance every two to three months. The exact number is set at assessment and adjusted to your response.
