Hair transplant cost in India

Most sessions at DR HAIR® India cost between ₹30,000 – ₹1,50,000, at both the Jaipur and Delhi clinics. Where yours falls depends on graft count and technique; estimate your graft count below, then get the total confirmed by examination.

What a hair transplant costs here

Most sessions fall between ₹30,000 – ₹1,50,000. The lower end is a smaller session, such as a hairline or a single area; the upper end is a large session covering the front and crown. The figure is the total payable, and the same at Mansarovar, Jaipur and Rajouri Garden, Delhi.

Where you fall in that range depends on how many grafts you need, which technique suits your scalp (FUE, FUT or DHI), and whether the work is done in one session or two.

Estimate your graft count

Almost every quote you will receive is graft count multiplied by a per-graft rate. Knowing your likely graft count is therefore the single most useful thing you can do before speaking to any clinic.

Estimated grafts needed

2,000 – 2,500

A typical range for this pattern. Your donor area determines what is actually achievable.

Get an exact assessment

This is an indicative range based on standard Norwood classification, not a quote. Graft count and cost can only be confirmed after Dr. Bansal examines your scalp and donor area.

Why we do not quote a per-graft price

A number on a web page cannot account for your donor density, the area needing coverage, scalp laxity or whether your loss is still progressing. Clinics that publish one either quote low and revise upward at consultation, or quote high to leave room to discount.

You will be given a total figure in writing after Dr. Bansal has examined your scalp — before you commit to anything, and with no charge for the assessment itself.

What to check in any quote

  • Is the figure total, or per graft with extras added later?
  • Does it include anaesthesia, theatre, medication and follow-up reviews?
  • Who performs the extraction and implantation — the surgeon, or technicians?
  • What happens if the final graft count differs from the estimate?
  • Is a second session likely, and is donor supply being preserved for it?

Questions about cost

How much does a hair transplant cost at DR HAIR® India?

Most sessions fall between ₹30,000 – ₹1,50,000, depending on graft count and technique. The exact total is given in writing after an assessment of your donor area and the area needing coverage, and the assessment is free.

Is the cost the same in Jaipur and Delhi?

Yes. The assessment, the plan and the total figure are the same at the Mansarovar clinic in Jaipur and at Rajouri Garden in Delhi.

What determines hair transplant cost in India?

Graft count is the primary driver, followed by technique. FUE and DHI are more labour-intensive per graft than FUT. Anaesthesia, theatre time and post-operative medication are usually included; confirm this in writing before booking anywhere.

Should I choose a clinic on price?

A hair transplant is permanent, including a poor one. Over-harvested donor areas and badly angled hairlines are difficult and expensive to correct, and correction consumes donor supply you cannot replace. Price is worth comparing only between clinics you would actually trust to operate.

Is a per-graft price the same as a package price?

Not always. Some clinics quote per graft and add theatre, medication and follow-up separately. Ask for the total payable amount and what happens if the final graft count differs from the estimate.

Do you offer payment plans?

Payment options are discussed at consultation once the plan and graft count are confirmed.
